Bio: Prof. Zhu is an Academician of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, Foreign Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Institute of Bologna (Italy), Foreign Academician of the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET), and Corresponding Academician of the National Academy of Artificial Intelligence (NAAI, USA). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE Fellow), Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET Fellow), Fellow of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE Fellow), Fellow of the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA Fellow), Fellow of the International Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance (AIIA Fellow), ALSTOM Fellow, and Visiting Fellow of the Royal Society of the United Kingdom. Prof. Zhu is a National Distinguished Expert, Director of the Integrated Smart Energy System Optimal Operation and Control (ISESOOC) Research Center at South China University of Technology, and a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He also serves as Chair of the IEEE P2781 and P2783 Standard Working Groups, Chair of the IEEE PES Smart Building, Loads, Customer Systems Technical Committee (China), and Member of the IEEE SMC Technical Committee on Intelligent Power and Energy Systems. With over 20 years of working experience in the UK, Singapore and the USA, he has published numerous books and more than 400 papers in international journals and conferences, and has made remarkable achievements in the fields of power system analysis, smart grid, integrated smart energy systems and the application of artificial intelligence in energy and power.

Prof. Hamid Reza Karimi, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, Member of Academia Europaea (MAE)

Bio: Prof. Karimi is a Member of Academia Europaea (MAE), a highly prestigious honor recognizing his outstanding contributions to the field of mechanical engineering. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE Fellow), Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET Fellow), Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME Fellow), and Fellow of the International Association of Automatic Control (IFAC Fellow). Prof. Karimi serves as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, where he leads research on advanced control systems, fault diagnosis and prognosis, robotics, and mechatronics. He has held various academic and research positions worldwide, contributing significantly to the development of innovative control strategies for complex mechanical and mechatronic systems. Prof. Karimi has published over 500 high-impact papers in top international journals and conferences, authored and edited several academic books, and served as an editor for numerous leading journals in his field. His research work has been widely recognized globally, making him a prominent figure in the international mechanical engineering and control systems community.

Bio: Dr. Kwok W. Cheung is Founder & CEO of KC-Exousia Consulting, an independent advisory firm specializing in global power grid modernization, energy market design and power system operation solutions.
With over 30 years of senior technical leadership at GE Grid Software Solutions as Director and Global CTO of Market Management Solutions, he holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a Registered Professional Engineer (Washington State), GE Senior Fellow, IEEE Fellow, and Member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering.

Prof. Kashem Muttaqi, University of Wollongong, Australia, IEEE Fellow

Bio: Prof. Kashem Muttaqi, IEEE Fellow, is a Distinguished Professor and Electrical Engineering Discipline Leader at the University of Wollongong, Australia. He serves as Director of the ARC Industrial Transformation Training Centre for Future Grid Energy Technologies and the Australian Power and Energy Research Institute (APERI). He is Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, and also holds Fellow status of IET and Engineers Australia. With nearly 30 years of academic experience, he has published over 575 peer-reviewed papers. His core research covers renewable energy integration, distributed generation, smart microgrids, power converters, EV systems and low-carbon grid control.
